갤러리 전은 사색의 계절 가을의 초입, 한국, 일본, 프랑스, 미국, 룩셈부르크 등 해외에서 활동하고 있는 이옥남 작가의 초대전 전을 진행한다. 이 작가는 신문, 한지 등의 종이를 일정한 간격으로 자르고 붙이는 과정을 반복하며 정진하는 수행자와 같은 작업을 한다. 그의 작품들은 시끄러운 세상 소리들을 잠재우는 고요한 외침 혹은 담담한 기록이자, 선을 행하는 소소한 과정과도 같다. 작품 속 움직임이 만들어낸 성찰의 시간은 켜켜이 축적되며, 고요하면서도 강한 마음의 파동과 같다. 이번 전시는 작품 20여 점이 갤러리 전 A관에서 전시될 예정이다.

At the beginning of fall, the season of contemplation, Gallery Jeon presents , an invitational exhibition by artist Lee Ok-Nam, who is active overseas in Korea, Japan, France, the United States, and Luxembourg. Artist Lee Ok-Nam works like a practitioner who devote herself, repeating the process of cutting and pasting papers such as newspaper and Korean paper at regular intervals. Her works are like a quiet cry or calm record that silences the noisy sounds of the world, and a small process of doing good. The time of reflection created by the movement in the work accumulates one after another, and is like a quiet yet strong wave of the mind. This exhibition will feature approximately 20 works at Gallery Jeon hall A.
