갤러리디엠은 국내의 우수한 작가를 발굴하고 육성하는 것에 목표를 세우고 2008년 대구시 중구에 개관하였다. 2017년 경남 창녕으로 이전 후 작가 레지던시를 통해 30여명의 유망한 청년작가들을 발굴하여 육성하였고, 국내 미술인 저변을 위해 약 70여회의 기획전을 개최해 왔다. 개관 이후 14년 동안 국내의 유망하고 젊은 청년작가들에게 작품 발표의 기회부여와 일상의 공간에 작품을 들여놓고 우연히 마주치는 예술을 즐기도록 병원, 카페, 미분양 아파트, 심지어 구치소에까지 '생활 속 갤러리'라는 프로젝트를 실시 해 오고 있다. 여러 이색적인 전시기획을 통해 현재는 부곡온천 내 온천호텔에서 매년 12회의 기획전을 열어 78도 양질의 온천을 찾는 관광객과 컬렉터를 발굴하고 있다.

Gallery D.M. was founded in 2008 in Jung-gu, Daegu with the goal of discovering and nurturing outstanding Korean artists.
Since moving to Changnyeong, South Gyeongsang Province in 2017, the gallery has discovered and fostered over 30 promising young artists though its artist residency program and has held over 70 exhibitions.
'In life gallery project' which have had the biggest reaction of the public became new direction to get close between artists and public as a gallery. By holding exhibition program and various art courses , GalleryDM will connect artists with viewers, and will strive to provide support to development of art and culture.
