<畫家 –화가, 선을 한줄 긋는 사람>은 한국의 안료 중 특정 물질과 불(火)이 반응하여 생성·변이되는 색을 기조로, 무수히 많은 원과 선을 그리는 회화 노동입니다. 

달과 불, 원과 선은 실제 했던 사람의 명을 바탕으로 만든 기호이자 암호이며, 불(火)의 반응을 어느 정도 예측할 수 있으나 적절한 우연에도 기대해야 했던 회화입니다.

무엇보다 곧게 잘 그리고자 할수록 삐뚤거리는 선 한 줄은 여러 노력을 기울였지만 뜻대로 되지 않는 오늘의 나를 구현한 초상입니다.

<畫家 – Painter of Fire, the One Who Draws a Single Line> is a practice of painting that traces countless circles and lines, using colors created and transformed by the reaction of certain substances in Korean pigments with fire. 

The moon, fire, circles, and lines serve as symbols and codes inspired by the destinies of real people.

 While the reactions of fire can be partially anticipated, the work also embraces the element of chance.

 Above all, the single crooked line that emerges the more I strive to draw straight becomes a portrait of my present self, shaped by effort yet resisting control."
